African Oware (mancala) Seed Board Game

We had been approached by a client to build them a African Board game called Mancala. Never encountering this before, we did some research and cam e up with this design. This traditional mancala board is to be played with mancala seeds.

This African mancala board was design to fold up and travel easily.

This unique mancala board was made from Sapele ( a mahogany species),and we used SOSS hinges as well. And we finished the piece with Tung oil.
